Alex has a deep connection with cannabis that began with recreational use. He later noticed how much it was amplifying the benefits of rehabilitation practices that he had adopted to reverse physical and mental ailments, and it became a regular ritual for him to combine the two.
He has held many positions in the cannabis industry since its legalization in 2017. Alex was a Lead IPM/Cultivation Tech, a Research & Development Tech, a Master Grower and helped build Dalhousie University’s first cannabis production course. He also holds a bachelor of business from his hometown university in Saint John, a bachelor of science from Dalhousie University majoring in plants sciences and is security cleared by Health Canada.
Alex is excited to see how the cannabis industry opens the door for more medicinal research on plants/fungi that have been deemed only as “dangerous” for so many years, and notices the importance of being an honorable advocate for these changes.
Alex speaks fluently in English and has a intermediate+ level of proficiency in French language.
