Georgia became passionate about cannabis through agriculture, and became more passionate about agriculture through cannabis cultivation.
Born and raised in the Annapolis Valley, Georgia worked on farms and attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Although, she worked in various agronomic jobs, when someone she admired explained the opportunities and the community in growing cannabis, she had to jump in. Georgia worked as an agronomist for two years in an indoor facility, and has been growing her own outdoor. She also helped design and taught Dalhousie University’s Cannabis Production & Management course for 2 years with Alex (Rhize Founder).
The aspects of cannabis that interest Georgia the most are building community through cannabis, nutrient management and general plant maintenance. Currently, Georgia is fulfilling a masters in agriculture at the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture.
