Scott Dutchyn's Experience

Scott is a passionate grower with over ten years of experience in the cultivation of cannabis.
He started out cultivating for his own medical treatment which sparked the path he has been on for over a decade.
Scotts ambition to help people learn more about the plant and to grow it on their own caused him to join a consulting firm back in 2011 where he did exactly this.
Since then, Scott has played a key role in the start-up of multiple personal production grows, dedicated grows, and LP applications.
Once the ACMPR came into existence, Scott dove right into the world of some of the largest producers of the time.
His plan was to learn everything he can about the regulatory side of the industry, transitioning from the old licensing platform to what the industry is today.
Scott has been involved with some of the largest producers in the country in multiple positions at multiple facilities.
Some of these positions include, Head of IPM Team, Assistant Grower, Cannabis Optimization Grower and now Master Grower.
Scott thrives when new challenges are presented and this may very well have shaped who he is today.
He has been chosen to speak at the 2019 Grow Up Convention and Expo on the Growers Panel for the private invite - Growers Luncheon.
He was also a judge panelist for the 2019 Lift & Co. CCA Gala and Award Show, and a sponsored judge for the 2013 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup.
Scott is not only continuing his role as a Master Grower but has ventured into the world of sales and consulting, joining the Rhize team, to further pursue his passion for helping growers and passionate people alike, improve their practices and grow the plant we all know and love to its fullest potential.
